My lovely wife has wanted a swimming pool for as long as we’ve been married. (that’s not a short amount of time Btw).

So I’ve been looking at something called Earthbag or superadobe construction, and Ferrocement construction. Both of these seem to be a way of making this happen at a fraction of the cost.

We’ve had a series of Walmart pools over the years and they seem to only frustrate us more than actually do anything. So I think what I’m going to do is make a pool. That way it will be whatever we want it to be, and I think I can do it way cheaper than the local place. I know it will be made the way I want it, and if it sucks, well the ducks will get a great pond….

Things are now in motion that cannot be stopped.
